Format of Play


FORMAT OF PLAY.

Singles game should be played between two opposing players. Players should play singly and in turn using either two, three or four woods from the same set of bowls. Singles will be decided by the first player scoring 21 shots will be the winner.

Pairs should be played by two opposing teams each with two players. Players should play singly and in turn either two, three or four woods from the same set of bowls.  Pairs will be played over 18 ends the winner being the Pair with the highest score.

A Triples game should be played by two opposing teams, each with three players. Players should play singly and in turn either two woods over 18 ends or 15 ends with three woods from the same set of bowls. The winner being the Triple with the highest score.

A Fours game should be played by two opposing teams, each with four players. Players should play singly and in turn two woods from the same set of bowls. Fours will be played over 18 ends, the winner being the Four with the highest score.
