The Mens Singles Final. This was played on the green at The Royal Oak. Alanj Carr and Alan Biss did battle for the title Mens Singles Champion. Watched bhy an enthralled crowd of about 15 our two gents played an absorbing game of bowls over 25 ends. It was a slow start for Alan Biss and Alan Carr soon swept into a 7 - 0  lead. However Alan Biss fought back and and at one time the score was 15 to Alan Biss and 16 to Alan Carr.
